This product is easy to maneuver, and does a good job of leveling our outdoor dog play area. The soil is loam with decomposed granite. It does a good job of taking out the uneven surface and leaving it looking groomed. My wife can use it easily, and it looks like it will last many years.
When I saw rakes like these advertised all over social media, I thought BS. I own a lawn care company and in the fall we do a lot of top dressing jobs. This rake is BADA55! It�s a must have for leveling and top dressing your yard. The rake is pretty well made and hope it lasts. We will be buying more!!! Love it!!
I was hoping this tool would be more useful than it is. Some of my soil was sand, some was recently tilled soil and it worked fine for both of those. It would not smooth down high spots in dirt that had not been disturbed, even when the dirt was thoroughly damp and soft. In my opinion the cross bars that smooth the dirt need to have sharp angles on them so that they will cut into the soil better. However, I have to say that the tool does what it is advertised to do. But it would be so much more useful with the modification I suggest.
